The right pruning in winter ensures good crops of fruit in the summer, with fruit quality and size declining if your plants are left un-pruned. Today you will learn the basics of correct pruning and training techniques to ensure the best crops for the future.

Hollies are traditional at this time of year, marking our celebrations of Christmas and the New Year! But there is so much more to be discovered about hollies, from the remarkable range of form, leaf and berry they exhibit, to the variety of uses they have in the garden. Rosemoor has a large and diverse NCCPG National Collection® of hollies, which will be the focus of today's walk.
